About the role
Supervise and perform phlebotomy duties across multiple sites, manage patient flow, inventory, and staff performance.
Responsibilities
- Provide coverage at various locations
- Assist in supervising phlebotomists
- Observe and report on employee performance
- Conduct site inspections
- Deliver ongoing training and complete competency assessments
- Address customer service issues
- Coordinate schedules
- Perform all phlebotomy and site coordination tasks as needed
- Promote teamwork and ensure effective communication among staff
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred 3+ years of clinical/hospital phlebotomy experience or certified through an accredited agency
- Ability to work well in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Must pass a color blindness test
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong customer service, communication, and independent working skills
- Flexibility for overtime and travel
