Phlebotomy Supervisor-Lab

Responsibilities

Keeps current on and complies with phlebotomy practices for all ages and populations.

Utilizes the appropriate phlebotomy supplies for population specific blood draws to ensure the safety and well-being of all patients.

Adapts language and communication techniques to convey pertinent information to patients of different ages, cultures, and populations.

Qualifications

A valid Phlebotomy certification from the State of California required.

Current BLS from the AHA (American Heart Association) required.

Previous experience in a clinical laboratory required.

Experience in a leadership, lead, or supervisor role required.

Associated Degree preferred; High School Diploma required.
