Responsibilities
- Oversee functions of Patient Services including Mobile Phlebotomy, In-Office Phlebotomy, and Patient Service Centers.
- Train all personnel and manage all daily operations and staffing of Patient Service Centers.
- Maintain a safe, professional environment in all facilities supervised.
- Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for phlebotomy services in accordance with Quest Diagnostics guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local licensure requirements, and review Laboratory testing QA/QC documentation.
- Oversee safety, maintenance, and cleanliness of facilities, including upgrades and repairs.
- Perform site visits, conduct QA audits, and document findings.
- Manage inventory processes for supervised facilities.
- Interview, select, and hire new employees.
- Train, coach, supervise, and develop staff.
- Monitor employee performance, provide corrective action, and hold regular meetings.
- Prepare monthly reports and assist in preparing annual budgets.
- Participate in process improvement teams and standardization initiatives.
- Organize and lead projects both within the workgroup and with cross-functional groups.
- Give presentations and speak in groups.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years prior supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership experience.
- Minimum five years' experience in phlebotomy, laboratory, or other healthcare environments.
- Preferred: Customer service experience in a retail or service environment.
- Physical and Mental Requirements: Extensive use of phone and PC, prolonged standing/sitting, fine dexterity with hands/steadiness, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and occasional lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Knowledge: Ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Skills: Flexibility, availability based on staffing requirements, weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime; valid driver's license and clean driving record; good organization, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting; proficient PC skills including experience using MS Office applications; ability to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise sound judgment; ability to manage individuals in multiple geographies/locations.
- Licenses and Certifications: Phlebotomy certification (required in certain states).
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field (preferred); High School Diploma or equivalent (required).

Pay and Schedule
Pay range: $58,656+ per year. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and market and organizational factors. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive an annual performance bonus compensation.
