Phlebotomist Team Lead

About the role

The Phlebotomist Tech IV reports to the Laboratory Manager. Under general supervision, draws and collects blood samples from patients, verifies records and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis. May collect capillary specimens. May conduct interviews and draw blood samples to screen donors at blood bank.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• 3 Years work experience in phlebotomy required

Qualifications

• Completed Accredited Phlebotomy Certificate Course, PBT(ASCP), NCA, NHA, NPT or Equivalent Phlebotomy Certification

Skills

• Knowledge of phlebotomy techniques
• Ability to work independently and under supervision
• Attention to detail
