Phlebotomist - Per Diem

Role: Performs phlebotomy following established safety protocols and hospital procedures. Responsibilities: Receives and accurately enters specimens into the Laboratory Information System (LIS), prioritizes and distributes specimens, and faxes/distributes results as needed. Maintains knowledge of policies to address patient questions and concerns. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent, valid phlebotomist certification, and AAMA Certified Medical Assistant credential. Requires strong phlebotomy and computer skills, excellent verbal and written communication, customer service abilities, and capability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: Medical assistant or phlebotomy certification, experience with pediatric, geriatric, oncology, and neonatal patients, bilingual skills. Experience: Less than 1 year in hospital phlebotomy.
