Phlebotomist (Overnight)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure identification of patients and their personal information using their ID, documents, or other means.
- Determine the right venipuncture method based on patients' age.
- Reassure patients and help them relax.
- Find veins that are suitable for venipuncture.
- Draw blood using sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment.
- Ensure optimal quality and quantity of samples.
- Label samples correctly, process, package for courier delivery to the lab.
- Answer patient questions and provide useful information.
- Keep accurate records on fluid specimens and tests.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards while working.
Minimum Qualifications
- Three (3) years phlebotomy
- Certified Phlebotomy Certificate
- Preferred or MA
- High School or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must follow dress code; scrubs while performing phlebotomy or similar covering.
- Ability to demonstrate patience and compassion.

- Phlebotomy Certification or Medical Assistant Certification with Phlebotomy training
- Good attitude
- Flexible with availability
- Basic computer skills a must
