Phlebotomist II - Float

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II - Float to support our client's healthcare facility in Eustis, FL.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday anytime between 5 am and 4 pm
• Rotational Saturdays as needed
• Float position; required to move between Patient Service Centers (PSCs)

Pay

$22.79/hr. to $24.41/hr. (based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education)

About the role

Responsible for collecting blood specimens, processing samples for laboratory testing, and providing excellent patient service. Ensures accurate specimen handling while maintaining patient confidentiality and following established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen collection on patients of all ages
• Label, process, and prepare specimens for testing
• Verify patient information and maintain accurate records
• Follow safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Provide professional and compassionate patient care
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Minimum 1 year in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred
• Keyboard/data entry experience
