Phlebotomist II - Bartlesville

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection for patients of all ages.
• Accurately label, process, centrifuge, split, and prepare specimens for testing and transport.
• Verify test orders and maintain accurate patient and specimen records.
• Explain collection procedures and provide excellent patient care throughout the process.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory, OSHA, and safety protocols.
• Support laboratory operations by answering inquiries and assisting with specimen management.

Requirements

• Phlebotomy certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Experience performing high-volume blood draws (approximately 50 patients daily).
• Strong specimen processing, accessioning, and laboratory information system experience.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and attention-to-detail skills.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients preferred.
• Previous hospital or clinical phlebotomy experience preferred.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
