Phlebotomist II - Bartlesville

Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection for patients of all ages.
- Accurately label, process, centrifuge, split, and prepare specimens for testing and transport.
- Verify test orders and maintain accurate patient and specimen records.
- Explain collection procedures and provide excellent patient care throughout the process.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory, OSHA, and safety protocols.
- Support laboratory operations by answering inquiries and assisting with specimen management.
Requirements
- Phlebotomy certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience.
- Experience performing high-volume blood draws (approximately 50 patients daily).
- Strong specimen processing, accessioning, and laboratory information system experience.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and attention-to-detail skills.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients preferred.
- Previous hospital or clinical phlebotomy experience preferred.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
