Phlebotomist I - 1st Shift
About the role
Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client's healthcare facility in Marion, OH. This is a 13 weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws and collect high-quality specimens safely and accurately.
- Perform venipuncture with patients across different age groups, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
- Prepare and process specimens according to established procedures.
- Explain collection procedures to patients and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence.
- Verify patient information and maintain confidentiality and accuracy of records.
- Maintain required patient and specimen documentation.
- Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties as applicable.
- Complete daily responsibilities accurately and within established timelines.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Years of experience: Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience - REQUIRED
Skills
- Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Pay
Pay Range: $17-19/hour* *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.
Schedule
Schedule: Monday-Friday Variable day-shift hours + Rotational weekends: approximately 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
