Full-Time Phlebotomist needed to join our MUSC Black River Medical Center, SC team.
MUSC Health Black River Medical Center supports a patient-and family-centered approach to care. Family members are not considered visitors to a loved one who is hospitalized; they are key participants in support, decision‑making, and care. There are no visiting hour restrictions and two people are always welcome at the bedside 24 hours a day. Residents benefit from access to a full range of modern diagnostic and interventional capabilities, including 63,500 sq ft, 25 inpatient beds, five observation beds, two operating rooms, 16 emergency treatment areas, CT scanner, MRI, nuclear medicine, mammography, general radiology department, laboratory, respiratory, pharmacy and other ancillary services.

Responsibilities
- Draws and collects blood samples from patients.
- Verifies records and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis.
- May prick finger to draw blood.
- May conduct interviews, take vital signs, and draw and test blood samples to screen donors at the blood bank.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Must have 250+ sticks for application consideration.
Qualifications
- Certification in phlebotomy preferred.
- BLS or CPR required; if not BLS certified at hire, certification must be obtained within 30 days.
