Phlebotomist

About the role

Perform blood draws, label specimens, and centrifuge them as necessary. Update patient information accurately. Demonstrate techniques using straight needles and butterfly needles. Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required. Package specimens for transport and store them at required temperatures. Answer telephone inquiries and read laboratory results.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience working with pediatrics & geriatrics in hospital / clinic / lab

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification is preferred

Pay

The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
