Responsibilities

• Aid in assessing donor suitability.
• Build rapport with donors to ensure their comfort and satisfaction, maintaining donor confidentiality.
• Handle and respond to donor reactions.
• Monitor donors and equipment to ensure their health and product quality.
• Set up, disconnect, and operate automated plasmapheresis machines.
• Disconnect and dispose of contaminated disposable equipment.

Requirements

• Required state licensures or certifications where applicable.

Qualifications

• Patient and reliable.
• Committed to keeping donors comfortable and happy.
• Experience with automated plasmapheresis machines.
• Knowledge of personal protective equipment and its usage.
• Physical stamina for standing, bending, twisting, and walking.
• Manual dexterity for precise finger movements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good hearing acuity.
• Color perception and discrimination.
• Near and far vision corrected to 20/30 and 20/100 respectively.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
• Ability to listen and understand information and ideas presented verbally.
• Ability to relate sensitive information to diverse groups.

Benefits
