Phlebotomist / Donor Collections Technician I - South Mobile
Job Summary
The Blood Bank of Delmarva (BBD) is seeking enthusiastic and welcoming individuals to join their Mobile Blood Drive Team. No prior medical experience is necessary, as BBD provides comprehensive training.
Responsibilities
- Conduct donor interviews in a confidential professional manner to determine donor eligibility according to BBD standards.
- Initiate whole blood collection/phlebotomy procedures and monitor the donor's progress, following BBD collection guidelines.
- Prepare for donor interviews and blood collection by ensuring interview materials and phlebotomy equipment and supplies are set up and operational according to Quality Control standards.

Requirements
- Must have your own reliable vehicle.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of face-to-face customer service experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of successfully managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced working environment.

Benefits
- Starting Pay Rate: $17.75/hr + $1.50/hr differential on Weekends + $1.00/hr differential on Mobile Blood Drives.

Pay
- Starting Pay Rate: $17.75/hr + $1.50/hr differential on Weekends + $1.00/hr differential on Mobile Blood Drives.
Schedule
- Morning, Evening, and Weekend shifts are required.
- Schedule released 2 weeks in advance.
