About the role

Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Phlebotomist - Clinical Lab Assistant to work full time days at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Central Testing. The site is open from 06:00 to 18:00.

As a Phlebotomist-Clinical Lab Assistant, you will perform patient phlebotomy while maintaining the highest level of customer service. You will collect, label, and process patient specimens for testing, handle registration and test data entry, and monitor supply levels.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (required)
• Phlebotomy course (preferred)
• Phlebotomy certification (preferred)
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
• 1 year of experience (preferred)
