About the role
We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Charlotte, NC, to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and represent the company as its public face. You will also have opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner
- Process billing information and collect payments
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3+ months of experience as a phlebotomist
- In lieu of work experience, certification or training must come from an accredited agency
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ months of experience as a phlebotomist

Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours per week, casual, intern, or temporary employees are eligible only for the 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7-on/7-off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
Phlebotomists may also be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
- Rotating weekends
