Phlebotomist

About the role

Clinch Valley Health is seeking a Phlebotomist to support our mission of making communities healthier. This position requires a high school diploma with a phlebotomy certificate from an accredited college/university, and basic life support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. Certification from ASCP or NHA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Labels, processes, and delivers specimens for testing.
• Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
• Affords assistance with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.

Requirements

Pay

Hourly range: $16 - $19.99 per hour.
