Phlebotomist

As a Phlebotomist, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and represent Labcorp in Patient Service Centers, Client Offices, or Hospitals. Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic needs
- Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Requirements
- Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P) or an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Qualifications
- 6 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist (preferred)
Pay
Pay range: $21.87 to $32.28 per hour. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, prior relevant experience, and the terms of the collective bargaining agreement between Dynacare Northwest, Inc. and United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 21.
Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, with rotating weekends.
