About the role
We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 2501 E. Chapman Ave, Suite 103, Orange, CA 92869. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and represent the company as its public face. You will also have opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic needs
- Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary
- Travel to additional sites when needed
Requirements
- California state Phlebotomy license (CPT) or an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire
- 6 months or more of experience as a phlebotomist
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Able to attend 2-week training in California
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year or more of experience as a phlebotomist
- Current or prior experience at LabCorp
- Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English
- 1 year or more of phlebotomist experience with Geriatrics and Pediatric patients

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours per week are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
Pay
Pay Range: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Rotating weekends may be required.
