About the role
The incumbent is to collect venous, arterial and capillary blood specimens for analysis by the laboratory technical staff.
Responsibilities
- Collect venous, arterial and capillary blood specimens
- Analyze collected specimens
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of specimen collection
- Adhere to infection control protocols
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current West Virginia Phlebotomy Certification
- Valid driver’s license
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
