Reviews Test Requisitions

• Collections Specimens via Venipuncture
• Accurately Labels and Transports Specimens to the Laboratory
• Performs Laboratory Testing and Related Support Duties as Required

Qualifications For The Job

• High School Education or Equivalent Required
• Must Be Able to Read, Write and Perform Simple Arithmetic Calculations at a Level Acquired Through a High School Education
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology Preferred
• Must Be Able to Read, Write and Perform Simple Arithmetic Calculations to Perform Functions of Job Such as Patient Identification, Determine Weight and Vital Signs, etc.
• One Year Experience Required
• Interpersonal Skills Required to Interact Effectively with Patients, Visitors and Hospital Personnel
• Require Knowledge of Basic Patient Care Methods, Procedures and Techniques
