About the role

We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in St. George, UT. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and represent the company as a key point of contact. You will also have opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic needs
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required
  • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current or prior Labcorp experience
  • 1 or more years of experience working as a phlebotomist

Pay

All job offers are based on a candidate’s skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, internal equity, and market data.

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
