About the role

To join an established church planting network in producing and translating discipleship and training materials that are biblically sound and culturally relevant, aiding in the spiritual development of local churches and church plants.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to create, adapt, and translate resources for discipleship and leadership training.
• The current primary focus is on training up elders and then equipping local elders in edifying their churches.
• This position also includes working with a team on planning and executing training and other church events.

Requirements

• A love for Christ and the church
• Theological training
• Experience in writing or translation
• Cross-cultural understanding and sensitivity
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Administrative and event planning skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-cultural team members and local church leaders
• A theology of suffering when working with the poor

Qualifications

• Learning Tagalog and/or other local languages
• Developing discipleship and training materials
• Translating materials into local languages and working with local translators
• Collaborating with team and church leaders to ensure content relevance
• Reviewing and editing materials for theological accuracy
