Phil is an Emmy Award-winning media executive with network television experience since 1992. A frequently sought-after speaker for conferences and seminars, including the NAB annual convention in Las Vegas, he founded Alongi Media Solutions (AMS) in 2009, which quickly became a leading force in media consulting.

Phil excels at coordinating and managing large, complex projects under high-pressure and challenging circumstances while maintaining competitiveness and budget sensitivity. He is a strong motivator and team leader.

As Executive Producer of Specials for NBC News, Phil oversaw breaking news, special events, and political coverage for NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, Telemundo, MSNBC.com, and NBC News Channel. His responsibilities included leading coverage of APEC’s annual meetings, notably two APEC Summits on location: Blake Island in 1993 and Osaka in 1995. He collaborated with event organizers to secure network coverage plans, built coalitions of White House producers and regional journalists to outpace competitors, and managed all production from the Summits.
