About the role
Saint Luke's South Rehab Institute is seeking a PAI Coordinator. This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week, with a schedule of 8-4:30 M and T, and 8-12:00 Wed, with no weekends.
Responsibilities
- Accurate and timely collection, documentation, and transmission of the IRF-PAI document to CMS through the UDS software program
- Oversee all aspects of data collection for the IRF-PAI
- Ensure supporting documentation of the IRF-PAI is present in the medical record
- Collaborate with physicians and coding to support medical necessity
- Collaborate with Education Department to ensure therapy, nursing, and care progression are educated on IRF-PAI
- Continuous monitoring and real-time feedback on IRF-PAI documentation entered in medical record by the team
- Collaborate with Epic builders to optimize IRF-PAI documentation
- Collect and report on data from UDS as determined by management
- Follow and prepare team for CMS updates or changes
- Participate in quality initiatives
- May participate in patient care
Requirements
- Physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, or nursing licensure
- 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist (KS) - Kansas State Board of Healing Arts
- Bachelor's Degree
- Travel between entities required
