Phase 2 Curriculum Coordinator

About the role

The Office of Undergraduate Medical Education administers the undergraduate medical education program, coordinates the content and sequence of courses, and promotes innovative learning, teaching, and evaluation techniques. The Phase 2 Curriculum Coordinator will assist in all aspects of the medical school curriculum with a focus on the clinical studies and courses that occur in the clerkship and post-clerkship curriculum. The Phase 2 Curriculum Coordinator acts as an administrative liaison and provides project management support at the direction of the Phase 2 Manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide course coordination in Phase 2 of the medical school curriculum.
• Prepare and communicate curricular information efficiently to Clerkship and Course Directors, content leaders, faculty, and students.
• Schedule learning sessions, including room reservations or video conference, as needed.
• Administer and track student exams, including timely and accurate communication with student examinees.
• Manage and maintain curricular materials within the learning management system (LMS) and other platforms.
• Act as the front-line contact and liaison between students, faculty, and administrators.
• Attend and participate in curricular committees and other curricular-related meetings.
• Provide committee support for the Phase 2 subcommittee, curricular projects, and tasks, as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Two years of relevant professional work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in medical education.
• Prior administrative experience in an academic and/or clinical setting.

Work Days: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
