Job Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and acknowledge them with compassion and a smile.
• Process orders in person and by phone, direct patients to products and merchandise, and refer questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain a clean work environment to meet company and government requirements.
• Aid team members with tasks to ensure efficient department operations.
• Use the pharmacy computer to complete actions for maximum efficiency and patient care.
• Search for patients and profiles, determine dates of fill and pick-up, check on-hand counts of medications, and enter invoices.
• Aid in improving outcomes through knowledge of service and business metrics.
• Participate in company initiatives and programs.
• Complete required training program and accompanying exams.
• Follow company, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations, including HIPAA and Pseudoephedrine sales.
• Finalize sales using cash register procedures.
• Transcribe prescription data accurately to generate custom labels.
• Order, receive, stock, and rotate drugs and supplies according to company policy.
• Answer telephones politely and exchange accurate information to satisfy customers.
• Resolve customer questions and concerns by communicating effectively with the customer and management team.
• File written prescriptions daily.
