About the role
PharmaCord is seeking an exceptional Pharmacy Technician Team Lead to join their team. This role is responsible for overseeing pharmacy technicians in a high-volume pharmacy setting, ensuring efficient and compliant operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily activities of pharmacy technicians to ensure optimal delivery of pharmaceutical products
- Supervise delivery staff and outside couriers as needed
- Maintain the pharmacy work area and receiving/shipping area in a professional and safe manner
- Aid in product purchasing, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
- Observe legal and ethical guidelines for safeguarding patient and proprietary information
- Adhere to safety and quality assurance practices
- Comply with state and federal laws, including OSHA and HIPAA
- Communicate with external and internal callers, providing timely feedback on service failures or customer concerns
- Assist with team hiring, development, and training
- Ensure daily program staffing levels align with program needs
- Provide consistent, timely coaching and development for direct reports
- Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned

- At least 1 year of experience supervising pharmacy and/or delivery operations preferred
- 2 - 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry required
- Possess Current KY Pharmacy Tech Registration
- Previous personnel/team management experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Retail, hospital, or high-volume/mail-order pharmacy experience preferred
- National Pharmacy Tech Certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire (PTCB Certification preferred)
- High School diploma or equivalent
