Pharmacy Technician - Sterile Compounding
About the role
This position is responsible for IV admixture, distribution of medications and supplies, and providing quality customer service. These duties are performed under the immediate supervision and control of a licensed pharmacist.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer intravenous medications and fluids according to physician orders and hospital policies.
- Distribute medications and supplies to patients as directed.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to medication administration and storage.
Requirements
- Washington Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.
- Coursework/Training - Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician Program.
- Hospital experience in sterile parenteral product preparation.
- Customer service experience.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The base pay range is $21.19 - $32.42 per hour, with additional compensation available.
