About the role
Provides Pharmaceutical Care according to professional and departmental standards and statutory requirements. Primary Location: SITE - Corewell Health Southfield Center - 26901 Beaumont Blvd. Department: Pharmacy Consolidated Services Center - Diversified East WB Mkt. Employment Type: Full time.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction and supervision of a Pharmacist, performs a variety of functions related to preparation, storage, distribution and dispensing of prescriptions.
- Within the Hospital, rotation through IV admixture and unit dose service is routine.
- Rotation to OR Pharmacy Services and Outpatient Pharmacy Services may be required.
- Performs data entry and other record keeping functions as determined to be necessary to the operations of the department.
Requirements
- A level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a general high school diploma program or GED.
- Experience with sterile compounding and/or 6 months technician experience and/or graduate of an ASHP accredited technician training program.

LIC-Pharmacy Technician - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or LIC-Pharmacist Intern - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

Schedule
Shift: Day (United States of America). Weekly Scheduled Hours: 40 Hours of Work. Days Worked: Monday - Friday. Weekend Frequency: Variable weekends.
