Responsibilities

• Proactively manage prescription exceptions, resolving claim rejects and facilitating communication with members and healthcare providers to ensure continuous care.
• Accurately input member demographic and prescription details into advanced data processing systems, maintaining the integrity of patient records.
• Investigate and resolve complex insurance billing challenges and escalated member inquiries to ensure smooth financial processing and patient satisfaction.
• Serve as a liaison, escalating prescription-related questions to Pharmacists for expert interpretation and guiding appropriate processing steps.
• Engage with patients and physicians through inbound and outbound calls, providing compassionate support and clear information regarding prescriptions.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support the efficient operation of pharmaceutical services.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to work on a W-2 basis (C2C or 1099 is not permitted).
• Valid Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee License for the State of Virginia.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical support role.
• Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification, as mandated by state regulations.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications.

Schedule

Available schedules:

• Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM
• Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
