Pharmacy Technician, Retail Pharmacy
The Pharmacy Technician 2 role at Conviva Senior Primary Care Center in Orange City, FL, involves assisting in building a large customer base and growing prescription volumes. Responsibilities include interacting with patients to fill prescriptions and OTC orders, offering consultations with the pharmacist, arranging courier services, cash register operations, data entry, filling prescriptions manually or with a counting machine, and Medication Therapy Management documentation. Outbound calls for reminders and ensuring medication management are also part of the duties.
Responsibilities
- Interact with patients to fill prescriptions and OTC medication orders
- Offer consultations with the Pharmacist
- Arrange for courier delivery service when needed
- Cash register operation
- Data entry
- Filling prescriptions manually or with counting machine
- Medication Therapy Management documentation
- Outbound calls to patients for prescription pickup reminders, vaccine reminders, and ensuring patients manage their medications
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician
- Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license
- Nationally Certified with PTCB or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Able to learn new software easily
- Able to handle multiple priorities and multitask
- Able to stand and move between stations in the pharmacy
- This role is patient-facing and part of Humana/Senior Bridge’s Tuberculosis (TB) screening program
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail environment
- Bilingual (Spanish Speaking)
- Certified to administer Immunizations
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM with a 30-minute scheduled lunch break from 12:30 to 1 PM.

Pay Range
The compensation range for this position is $40,000 - $52,300 per year.
