Pharmacy Technician (Registry)

About the role

Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Works only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the effective operation of the Pharmacy Department.
• Deals with pressure to meet deadlines, maintains accuracy, and handles constantly changing situations.
• Handles a variety of people, stressful situations, and conflict.
• Performs all job duties or tasks as assigned.
• Adheres to all requirements, regulations, and procedures of any licensing board or agency.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• A Montana State license as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, or a current license as a Registered Intern with the Montana Board of Pharmacy.
• Pharmacy technician experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must comply with all Benefis Health System's organization policies and procedures.

Commensurate with experience.

Pay

$19.90/hourly, actual offered wage is based on applicable experience.
