About the role
Assists Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders. Performs various technical duties involved with the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates proficiency to practice in two (2) or more specific pharmacy function areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding and home care/outpatient)
- Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia
- One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
