Pharmacy Technician PRN
About the role
Assisting the Pharmacists in preparing and distributing drugs, maintaining the drug inventory and medical records.
Complying with facility policy and procedures, along with regulatory requirements.
Maintaining medication storage and security as per regulatory requirements throughout the organization.
Performing quality control and performance improvement functions as assigned.
Accurately and safely compounding and labeling medications and parenteral admixtures.
Accurately transporting medications and other pharmacy supplies in a timely manner to appropriate areas.
Receiving and checking in medication/supply orders as defined in policy and notifying the pharmacy inventory manager of any shortages, overages or damages of product.
Managing drug supplies in a cost-effective manner and identifying opportunities to minimize waste.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Pharmacy Technician License
Qualifications
- Knowledge of pharmacy practices and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in using pharmacy software and equipment.
- Good understanding of pharmacology and drug interactions.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and handle hazardous materials.
