Pharmacy Technician – Per Diem – Inpatient

About the role

UW Health’s Inpatient Pharmacy team is growing! We’re seeking energetic individuals to help care for patients through diligent medication management at University Hospital and American Family Children’s Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Help pick, prepare, and deliver medications throughout the hospitals.
• Be team-oriented and have a high attention to detail.
• Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Show confidence in mathematical skills.
• Previous inpatient pharmacy experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program.
• 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician or completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration upon hire.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.

Pay

Salary commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Per Diem. Minimum 16 hours per week. Mix of Day and Evening Shifts. Weekend and Holiday rotation required. Hours may vary based on operational needs.
