Pharmacy Technician Outpatient

About the role

Support daily pharmacy operations, prescription preparation, medication access, and patient support in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists by collecting patient information and preparing prescriptions
• Perform calculations and compound medications
• Manage medication supplies and monitor controlled substances
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure regulatory compliance
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Current pharmacy technician certification/license as per state requirements
• Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and drug distribution laws
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as applicable
• Reliable, organized, and computer literate

Physical & Other Requirements

Pay

$20.22 - $30.81 per hour
