Pharmacy Technician (Outpatient)

Job Summary

This position is located at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, NE.

Pharmacy Hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 9am-5pm; Wednesday and Friday 9am to 6pm

Schedule: 40 hours/week

Responsibilities

• Maintains professional working relationships, with all medical personnel.
• Understands that the requirements of working in a pharmacy.
• Be available to the customer/patients and maintain a friendly and helpful attitude when dealing with customers.
• Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Organizes and assists pharmacist
• Ensures medication availability by delivering medications to patients and ordering when needed
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Works with pharmacy team to ensure best practices are being followed with regards to 340B

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience, preferred
• Registration in state in which the position is located (if applicable)
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Retail pharmacy technician related experience preferred
• May require vendor credentialing

Pay and Benefits

• Anticipated hourly range: $16.40 per hour - $21.15 per hour
