Pharmacy Technician LTC - Indianola

Responsibilities

• Process and fill prescriptions
• Assist the pharmacist with technical functions in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Measure, count, label, record keeping, and communicate with patients and other healthcare professionals
• Handle customers in a prompt, professional, and friendly manner
• Resolve issues such as rejected insurance claims
• Select appropriate medicines and measure dosages to fill prescriptions
• Sort, stock, label medications and monitor inventory
• Undertake administrative tasks as assigned
• Comply with all security measures and quality standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Highly competitive pay rate commensurate with experience

Qualifications

• Nationally certified and registered with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy
