Pharmacy Technician II, Ambulatory Pharmacy (Full Time)

About the role

Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Pharmacy technicians work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and distributes medications under supervision.
• Maintains drug inventory.
• Maintains patient records.
• Deals with pressure to meet deadlines, maintains accuracy, and handles constantly changing situations.
• Deals with a variety of people, manages stressful situations, and handles conflict.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• License in the State of Montana as Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Technician Level - II must have 1 year experience (full time hours) as a pharmacy technician, in an integrated health system and demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in two or more specialty areas in pharmacy operations.
