About the role
The Pharmacy Technician I will perform technical functions involved in the medication use process. This includes assisting the Pharmacist in preparing and compounding pharmaceutical products, assessing inventory, and resolving insurance claim issues during the dispensing function.
Responsibilities
- Assists the Pharmacist in preparing and compounding pharmaceutical products
- Affixes labels and packages medications according to established procedures
- Assesses inventory of Pharmacy products
- Resolves problems with insurance claims as they arise during the dispensing function
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Active ALBOP Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required, PTCB certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software
- Strong team leadership skills, strong organization, interpersonal, and customer relations skills
- Must be able to meet strict deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
- Able to remain calm in difficult situations
- Strong written and oral communication skills, proficient computer skills, proven track record of successful performance
- Competent with pharmacy systems and related technology and equipment for practice setting
Qualifications
- Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment

Pay
The salary range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This position is available as a Fulltime Days shift.
