Pharmacy Technician I - Inventory Support
For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $3,000 sign-on bonus for all eligible Pharmacy Technicians. Eligible candidates must be hired (offer accepted) into a full- or part-time Pharmacy Technician position. Bonus amount is prorated for part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
About the role
The Pharmacy Technician role will function in a training capacity, working alongside a trainer/mentor while completing their job responsibilities in their respective pharmacy practice area. The role will assist pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and the care team in the storage, distribution, preparation, and handling of medications within MaineHealth. The Pharmacy Technician will only perform competencies that they have completed in their knowledge-based courses and on-the-job training and are qualified to perform alongside a technician trainer/mentor or pharmacist.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current or eligible for applicable state(s) license as a Pharmacy Technician
- Proficient computer skills

Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.68 to $25.10 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
