Responsibilities
Assists the clinical pharmacists in providing an accurate and timely medication distribution system.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be registered with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician within 30 days of hire date, with registration in good standing ("active").
- National certification with PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) or ExCPT (Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians) required. "Active" status must be maintained, with a 30-day grace period for renewal.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and adapting to changing tasks quickly.
- Proficiency in basic math applications and analyses.
