Pharmacy Technician I

Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to join our team! Our specialty pharmacy offers a stable schedule, no weekends, and no major holidays, providing a better work-life balance than many traditional pharmacy settings. Technicians play a vital role in every step of the patient journey, with opportunities to develop expertise across multiple operational and patient-facing functions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for answering inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary prescription information to properly fill a prescription.
• Manage queues and work oldest orders first.
• Ensure correct shipment of specialty pharmacy orders.
• May ensure adequate inventory of pharmaceuticals, including ordering, receipt, verification, and stocking.
• Act in accordance with federal and state laws and maintain high ethical standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required per state regulations.
• Minimum two years of pharmacy support or healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Participate in and support compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Pay

USD $20.19 - USD $25.50 /Hr.

Schedule

M-F 8am to 5:30pm
