Pharmacy Technician - Full-Time Day Shift with $5,000 Sign-on Bonus

About the role

The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech II fills and dispenses oral and IV medications, trims patient orders, and maintains the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS).

Responsibilities

• Fills and dispenses unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments.
• Triage patient orders and ensures accuracy in medication administration.
• Maintains the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS).

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• OR Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician upon hire.
• OR Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.
• Minimum of one year (> 2080 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system and current PTCB certification - OR - 2 years (>4160 hours) hospital pharmacy if not PTCB certified.
• Coursework/Training: Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program.
• Specialty certification (e.g. ACPE approved sterile compounding certification) where applicable for role.
• Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR).

Qualifications

Pay

$22.20 - $33.97 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
