Job Description What You’ll Do: As a Medication Technician, you’ll play an essential role in supporting resident health and safety. Daily responsibilities include: Administering prescribed medications and treatments accurately and on scheduleMonitoring, documenting, and reporting changes in residents’ health or behaviorPerforming delegated tasks such as blood sugar testing or insulin administration (as assigned)Maintaining proper storage and management of medicationsTaking and recording vital signsCommunicating with nurses, physicians, and pharmacies to ensure continuity of careActing as a leader and point person during your shift, including responding to emergenciesMaintaining a clean, organized medication room and accurate documentationCollaborating closely with caregivers and other team members to support resident well-being Shift Available: Full or Part Time available. What We’re Looking For Minimum age 18Previous experience in a Med Tech or Med Aide roleA passion for serving seniors and making a difference every dayStrong communication and leadership skillsPrevious medication administration experience using an EMAR systemCurrent CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening Physical Demands Ability to stand /walk up to eight hours per dayMust be able to lift/push up to 50 pounds.Must be able to lift, stand, bend, squat, crawl, reach, and kneel using good body mechanics for sustained periods of time.
