Pharmacy Technician Evenings

Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will use your skills and compassion in caring for our patients as an integral part of the hospital pharmacy team. Members of the team consider themselves a family where each member works hard to support each other. We are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

What you will do:

• Maintain medication storage and security
• Interact with hospital personnel both in person and by phone
• Accurately package and prepare medications for dispensing
• Transport medications and supplies to various areas of the hospital
• Perform daily Automated Dispensing Cabinet routines as assigned
• Help manage drug supplies in a cost-effective manner and identify opportunities to minimize waste
• Help mentor new technicians and assist the Pharmacy Director with special projects as needed

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician License
• High School Graduate / GED
