Pharmacy Technician Certified I - Retail Pharmacy - Full Time
About the role
The Pharmacy Technician Certified position at Elliot Retail Pharmacy prepares and distributes medication within Elliot Health System, working closely with pharmacists and other pharmacy personnel.
Responsibilities
- Process and prepare all patient-specific medications as per the provider order for pharmacist check.
- Distribute prepared medications to health system locations.
- Maintain automated dispensing cabinet medication inventory.
- Triage telephone calls to appropriate pharmacy personnel.
- Repackage and restock medications using automation and technology.
- Perform monthly floor inspections in the assigned area locations.
- Serve as pharmacist operational support during assigned shifts.
- Perform monthly floor inspections for medication storage as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: One (1) year previous retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- Certification/Licensure: NH Board of Pharmacy Technician Certified required. National Technician Certification required.
