Retail Pharmacy Technician - Full Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Retail Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering accurate, timely prescription services. This role combines hands-on pharmacy support with administrative and customer service responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Schedule

• Approximately 80 hours per biweekly pay period
• Primarily 5 days per week, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Every 6th Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• No evening shifts beyond scheduled hours
• Rotation to other retail pharmacies as needed

Location

This position will work two to three days in the La Farge pharmacy and then rotate days in the Virogua and Soldiers Grove Pharmacies as needed. You will know your location in advance and be able to fill in as needed at locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone
• Process prescription data entry and maintain accurate patient records
• Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries
• Stock inventory and maintain an organized pharmacy workspace
• Support daily pharmacy operations and general clerical duties

Qualifications

• Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Pharmacy Technician certification a plus
• Strong basic math skills and attention to detail
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn pharmacy systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Able to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
• Willing to become registered with the State of Wisconsin as a Pharmacy Technician
