Pharmacy Technician | Central Fill

About the role

The Central Fill Pharmacy Technician supports high‑volume prescription processing by preparing, packaging, and labeling medications accurately and efficiently. This role helps keep prescriptions moving safely and on time while working closely with pharmacists and the pharmacy team at Emplify Health by Gundersen in West Salem, WI.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare prescription orders in a central fill setting.
• Count, package, and label medications accurately.
• Support prescription workflow, inventory, and restocking.
• Follow pharmacy procedures to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to meet daily volume needs.

Schedule

• Full‑time, 40 hours/week.
• Monday‑Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (Monday until 5 pm as needed).
• Rotating every 4th or 5th Sunday – 4‑hour shift.

Pay

Starting pay: $19.05 per hour, plus additional compensation based on years of experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program or at least one year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Wisconsin.
• Nationally recognized certification (CPhT or ExCPT) or willingness to become certified within 6 months of hire.
