Pharmacy Technician- Avenal State Prison (ASP)

Job Description and Duties

The Pharmacy Technician performs nondiscretionary tasks and technical duties that are part of pharmacy operations. They assist in preparing medication orders; coordinating the medication supply chain; and maintaining records and medication inventory in accordance with policies, laws, and regulations.

Working Conditions

Travel may be required.

Special Requirements

Tuberculosis (TB) testing is required for candidates new to CCHCS prior to appointment followed by department annual TB testing/evaluation thereafter.
